Compliance
Auto-transport calling sits in a heavily regulated area of US telemarketing law. This page describes what Lynx does. It is not legal advice, and it is not a statement that using Lynx is lawful for any particular broker or lead source. That depends on where a broker's leads come from and what consent they carry, which is a question for their own attorney.
Who is responsible for what
The broker supplies the leads and the consent that came with them. Lynx calls on the broker's behalf, under the broker's own consent basis. Lynx is not a lead seller and does not obtain consent for anyone.
That division matters, and we would rather be plain about it than let it be a surprise later.
What Lynx does on every call
Do-Not-Call scrubbing. Every number is checked against Do-Not-Call registry data before it is dialled. Not once at signup, on every lead.
Opt-outs. Anyone who asks not to be called again is added to a permanent do-not-call list immediately and is never dialled again, by any campaign, for any broker.
Recording disclosure. The AI states that the call is on a recorded line at the start of every call.
AI disclosure. The AI identifies itself as an assistant if asked. It does not claim to be a person.
Suppression on conversion. Someone who says they have already booked is suppressed on the spot and not called again.
Calling hours
Calls go out between 8am and 9pm in the lead's own local time, worked out from the number and the ZIP code rather than the broker's timezone.
Several states are stricter than that, and those limits are applied automatically on top: some require a 9am start, others an 8pm finish. Some states also cap how many commercial calls may be placed to the same person in a 24-hour period, and where that applies Lynx spreads the attempts across more days rather than dropping any.
A handful of states are excluded from calling entirely, because their rules cannot be satisfied by an automated voice.
Brokers can narrow any of this further, set which days their team works, and mark one-off closure dates.
What we will not do
We will not tell a broker that their leads carry adequate consent, that their setup is compliant, or how a statute applies to their business. Not because we are being unhelpful, but because that answer is specific to their lead sources and getting it slightly wrong would be worse than not answering.
Those questions should go to a lawyer who can look at the actual lead source and paperwork. We are glad to explain exactly what the system does so that conversation can be a short one.
